Portfolio of Works

Artwork featured here is included in Fox, installed at University Liggett Schools, from November 10-December 13, 2023. This gallery page can only be accessed via the QR code included in the show, enabling in person attendees to purchase the artwork on display using a credit card (paypal), which is an option the school does not provide. All purchases made through this gallery page during the exhibition will earn a 20% commission towards the school.

These are oil studies created from larger (acrylic) Talisman paintings. They are all done on 9x12 Stonehenge oil paper. The paper has roughly a 1" clear margin with the image approximately 7"x10" (excluding Peace Dove who is roughly 7" square on the 9"x12" paper). All paintings are initialed on front in oil, titled in pencil on the front lower corner, and signed and titled on the back in pencil. Some paintings may carry a stray mark  in the margins or a disrupted paper surface (fibers disturbed when the masking tape was lifted), but in my opinion this adds to the character of the work, and if desired can be hidden behind a mat.

Studies will ship flat, archivaly packaged, mid-July 2025 and require framing behind glass for preservation. 

These oil studies are done on Stonehenge oil paper. Each one is centered/positioned on a 9"x12" page - please reference the individual listings for the image sizes, as each is different. Image measurements may be off by a 1/4". Paintings will ship archivally wrapped and will require framing behind glass for preservation.

Populated with the animals I dream of accompanied by landscape inspired symbols or elements that speak to seasonal or real world events, these pieces explore our relationship with the natural world.

Water based works on paper featuring a blend of dry and wet media, from 2026 onwards. 

All paintings are squared/centered on the paper - due to slight buckling (from being wet) or curling (from the piece being rolled), digital images may appear slightly distorted - a framer will correct this with proper mounting and finishing. Note that those pieces with geometric edges or painted framing elements may also appear distorted for the same reason - I do not have the means to press or dry mount paper so as to reduce this effect. Pieces may carry smudges or inclusions in the margins (non image) that are representative of the process or studio. For preservation purposes, the work should be matted and framed behind glass. They are signed on front and verso in various ways - check the listing for specific details.
